LISS offers a variety of services to help our clients make the most out of their business.

    • Implementation - for new clients we offer a tried and tested implementation procedure.
    • Installation - a variety of installation solutions are offered which can be tailored to the specific needs of the client.
    • Development - further enhancements to enable additional functionality for the LISSIA system.
    • Maintenance - our annual maintenance licence for LISSIA covers technical updates and provides access to help desk services and additional possibilities for functional upgrades.
    • Training - LISS can provide focused training to allow business users to make the most of the LISSIA system.

    • Business - to advise on how to exploit the existing capability, and how to develop new functionality, for new products and services.
    • Technical - to help with updating IT systems and ensuring that systems are configured to make the most of the LISSIA system.

We aim to build and maintain long-term relationships with our clients. Our approach to providing services for our clients is therefore that all provision should be client driven. We recognise that each company is different and will have different requirements for services, and we aim to fit in with our customers' requirements.

Gap Analysis






LISS has a successful track record of providing consultancy services in addition to our more usual support services.

Our extensive business knowledge of the Life Insurance industry has meant that LISS staff can often provide consultancy services on business issues, such as product development and remuneration systems. We are also happy to liaise between our clients and other external service suppliers, such as actuaries, or providers of additional related systems, such as web development companies.

We have also undertaken projects for clients re-assessing their use of their policy administration systems, and advising where improvements can be made either from a technical or a business point of view. In most cases the recommendations from our reports have been followed and have proved to be of benefit to the company. Some projects have been focused on specific problems, such as poor system performance against expected norms, systems becoming corrupted by subsequent releases (testing issues), or perceived user discontent with the system functionality. In all cases we have been able to bring new insight to the issues concerned and make recommendations tailored to the company in order to improve performance.

In addition, we are always happy to provide technical expertise, whenever possible, to help with issues arising from other systems, networks and so on.
